Excellent use of the word “hobo”.
Thanks. Writing dialogue for comics goes beyond economical word usage and into a realm where every letter of every word has to be absolutely necessary. Too many letters leads to an over-sized balloon which lead to a cluttered panel. A word like “Hobo” says so much with so few letters that it becomes invaluable to a comic writer. Of course, when I can’t get an elbow to look right or don’t know what to do with a character’s hands, it helps to have a wordy balloon to cover all that up.
